If COVID-19 is Cramping Your Style...

What a year 2020 has been! If COVID-19 has made you feel anxious about getting on a plane and rethinking those international travel plans of yours, you are not alone.

But here's the good news - you can still do fun things (yep, you heard me right)! Coronavirus has ruined international travel plans but there has been a serious uptick in domestic travel and homegrown tourism.

Here are 3 things you can do!

1 ) Go Camping in Your Backyard (or in my case, living room)

Turns out you don't have to go very far to simulate the feeling of "getting away." Check out my TeePee Tent ⛺️ from TazzToys! Me and Duke are obsessed! These Teepee tents on Amazon are adorable! This is the ultimate outdoor fun brought indoors. Who says you can't make staying indoors fun?! These tents are designed for little ones (whether they be your little ones or furry friends). It's super easy to assemble/disassemble and comes with a portable bag so you can easily transport your TeePee all around your home!

2) Get Out In Nature

Be patient - this rock statue took LOTS of trial and error. But after hunting for the perfect rocks and having it collapse more than I'd like to admit, I finally got it right!

June Lake was stunning! It was so picturesque from the lake to the hikes and trails - and even spotted a couple of cute deer along the way.

3) Staycation/Road Trip

Let's be real - your summer travel plans were definitely ruined. And most of us aren't ready to travel just yet - but don't forget to take some time to de-stress and recharge! And there's no better way than to have a staycation. Rent a car, go on a road trip - maybe even car camp! Or book a hotel near you - it's so nice to "get away" even if it's still in the same city you live in. You'll be surprised how nice and refreshing a good R&R can be.

Enjoy some much needed R&R with your family/friends - or maybe even just some you time! It's actually healthy to take time off (especially right now for both mental and physical health). It doesn't have to be a big thing - it can even be something as simple as having a full day or total and utter relaxation. A day just to pamper yourself and indulge in something you love. Take time to do things that make you happy! 😊
